Then a new video appeared showing a run through an act of Emerald Hill for 2010, then more screens, and that mech in the background. The video looked nice, but for all the technical work in it, still kind of clunky and strange. The screenshots looked awesome, yet not, because of some really heavy contrast and saturation issues. In the meantime, a few shots of this fangame popped up and soon a tiny video. It seems to be generally regarded now as a good game while being panned for its physics when compared to the classics. Sonic 4 was finally released and many were happy with it, but many weren't those hoping for the old feel were disappointed. r-edition# (Works, but a 5 minute wait to start.) " onclick="window.open(this.href) return false. Remix.html (Only bother with the torrent.) " onclick="window.open(this.href) return false

Just an annoyance though." onclick="window.open(this.href) return false (Torrent works only.) Maybe you were trying to go for a realistic sound, but for some reason I like the original better. Pros: Physics that awesomely mimic classic games.Ĭons: One thing that I think you should fix is the sound that Sonic makes when he slides. 'Why?'īut everything aside, due to its beautiful design, physics, soundtrack and well, its simplicity, I give this game a 9/10 I feel that someone could easily pick this up in their spare time, complete it, look for the full version only to find that it was indeed cancelled and then ask themselves one question. So why on earth would the developers of this wonderful, beautiful and all in all, awe inspiring fan game cancel it? If someone were to say that Sonic Fan Remix scooped up all of my hopes and dreams in the middle of the night and put them into one awesome classic Sonic the Hedgehog inspired game, they would be right.

Sonic Fan Remix is to fangames as Miyamoto is to Nintendo.
